SCHOOL OF SPANISH IN THE CENTRE OF MALAGA
Instituto Picasso, a center accredited of Instituto Cervantes, is one of the oldest schools in Malaga.

The school is situated in a historic 19th Century building forming part of the historic town center. Just fifty meters from the Institute, you will find the house where Pablo Picasso, a genius of 20th Century Art. This house has been converted into a museum nowadays.

Within a few minutes’ walk from our Institute, you may enjoy beaches, monuments, cinemas, theaters, shopping center, and the warm ‘ambience’ of night life downtown.

A professional and multilingual team can inform you in Spanish, English and German about our Spanish courses, accommodation in apartments-to-share or Spanish host families, etc.

Our school has an expert team of highly qualified, native teachers dedicated to teach Spanish as a foreign language for more than 15 years, who will get you in contact with a language spoken by more than 400 million people in the world.

The Picasso Institute offers a wide and varied plan of activities: cultural visits, excursions, flamenco and cooking classes, sports and leisure activities, many of them are for free or offered with a special discount for our students. Participating in any of these activities will let you get in contact with Spanish culture and traditions.

SPANISH COURSES IN MÁLAGA
Students with previous Spanish knowledge may join our courses on any Monday during the year. Only absolute beginners should take into account the official starting dates every fortnight.
The time schedule of the courses is from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. In summer season, we establish different time tables, depending on the number of students. One lesson last 50 minutes.

By means of an easygoing and entertaining method, the flexibility of our Spanish courses throughout the entire year, and by studying Spanish in a town selected by millions of visitors as destiny, you will manage to invest in your professional future and enjoy unforgettable holidays at the same time.

Intensive Standard Course: (4 lessons/day)

Extra Intensive- Standard Course I: (4 lessons + 1 private lesson/day)

Extra Intensive- Standard Course II: (4 lessons + 2 private lessons/day)

Commercial Spanish: (4 lessons /day in the Intensive standard course + 1 private lesson/day of Commercial Spanish)

Course on Spanish Literature: (4 lessons /day in the Intensive standard course + 1 private lesson/day of Spanish Literature)

Course on History: (4 lessons /day in the Intensive standard course + 1 private lesson of Spanish history per day)

Course on Civilization and Culture: (4 lessons /day in the Intensive standard course + 1 private lesson of Spanish Civilisation and Culture)

Commercial Correspondence Course: (4 lessons /day in the Intensive standard course + 1 private lesson to acquire knowledge and use in commercial documents and writing skills (Spanish for business).

Course for the Exam of the Chamber of Commerce (Minimum 3 participants):  4 weeks – 4 lessons/ day. Preparation for obtaining the ‘Certificado Básico y Superior de español de los negocios’, issued by the Chamber of Commerce in Madrid.

D.E.L.E. (Minimum 3 participants): (Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma): exclusive preparation of the 4 skills at all levels, with material that has been used in the exams and was edited for D.E.L.E.) In case the minimum of 3 participants for one level cannot be reached, the school offers alternative options to prepare the DELE exam.
